Fun with Flams – Flaflam Drag

The Hybrid Rudiments Video Series “Fun with Flams” week concludes with the Flaflam Drag! A Flaflam Drag is a Paradiddle with the first note flammed, the second note diddled and an accented flam on the fourth note. Stick control and patience are needed for this hybrid. Put Some Cheese on that Flamadiddle – the Side Cheesadiddle

Friday wraps the week in the Hybrid Rudiments Video Series with the Side Cheeseadiddle! A Side Cheeseadiddle is a Side Flamadiddle (a four-note grouping sticked RLLL or LRRR with a flam on the first note of each) with cheese (a diddled flam) on the first flam of each. You’ll have to work on this one a bit. Have fun and happy drumming!
